Yamaha’s Junior Music Course
When I was young, I started music learning at 4 years old with Yamaha.
It’s a course call J course (Junior Course).
For those who starts at 4 years old, it’s a course call Junior Music Course (JMC)
I would love to share with some parents about this course as I personally feels this course really helps a lot in kids musical development and learning.
I will write more bout the course later.
Now I share some classes videos I find online.
Nowadays kids r so lucky, they have viewcams to record down their lessons…
last time my mom only able to record it with walkman LOL
Solfege
One thing J course emphasis a lot is solfege, they train us to listen and sing the pitch accurately.

Have fun and have fun!!
Tempo and beat
1, 2 ,3, 4 according to music
Tempo and beat r very important fundamental in music
And of course playing music…
In JMC course, kids are taught to play on both electone (organ) and piano.
But mainly electone, as the keys are softer, easier for kids.
And normally kids are ask to sing along of the keys while playing
Concerts
And often, we have concerts!
in the class…solo performances
on electone
on piano
or both
and sometimes bigger concerts
It’s a really fun course, as it’s in group class, the kids get to meet more friends ^^
Awh, I miss my classmates there…
Discharged
I have been MIA for a week =P WHY?
I got admitted into hospital because of dengue fever…
Have been on drips for 5 days and everyday take my blood 3 times (including one round at 4am each day)
Look at my hands’ condition now…
Thanks for all who came to visit me and the things u guys brought to me T-T
And specially to Thian’s violin teacher who bought me choc also, thanks a lot u all….
Made my stay there feel better =)
Cartoon mania
Recently I caught up with some cartoons hehe…
Let’s see what I have watched.
Mulan
This is the first one of the week, is my dad’s favourite cartoon i suppose.
And thanks to watching this…I have the song “I’ll make a man out of you” stuck in my head for few days.
And keep listening to it, repeating and repeating in my pc.
Ratatouille
This is my favourite Pixar animation i suppose =)

Mulan II
This one, not an impressive one, just very simple story. Is more one the relationship between Mulan and Shang…
Crickee is soooo cute in this one XD
Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron
This one is one of the cartoon i always wanted to watch but never did.
So i watched. Is a story about a stallion.
The whole movie, it never spoke a word…but I am amazed by the facial expression and their eyes…
tells all the stories.
Another simple story but touches the heart.
The Incredibles
Watched this before. But dad wanted to watch it becoz he nvr watch before.
Have watched Sky High recently on HBO, have the similarity there really XD
Was watching this just now, but dad went to work…so i change

It’s now 7.20am. I woke up 7am just now thought of finishing my work.
I’m suppose to categorize almost 300 things.
I left it few hours ago to take a nap and woke up just now and realizing I actually finished it when I left it…cause the rest is just the same thing and doesn’t need to be done!
Heh?! What shall I do now…ah…go back to sleep?
Nah, guess I’ll stay for a bit when mom wakes up then I’ll go play Mimi a while =P
Guitar Festivals 2008 @ Yamaha Kelana Jaya
Gosh i haven’t been updating for quite sometime…got so much things to update but but but….arrrgghhh…
Never mind…let’s just start with recent first and go along the way according to my mood lol~
Last Sunday I went to watch Guitar Festivals at Yamaha Kelana Jaya.
It’s sorta like a competition like electone concours.
The sections were classical junior, classical open age, guitar ensemble and freestyle ensemble.
The stage
Yea, there’s a rock band group so there’s in need of a drum set and keyboard etc.
The trophies
The guitar shaped trophies. Got smaller sized one for the juniors, encouragement awards etc…
Oh, oh, that’s a Stagea behind them =P
Well overall the show was nice and entertaining, all those soothing guitar songs =)
And of course a lil of rock song…
There’s this group with a pair of twins, they did well, one of the twin sing well too…
Well i dono why they didn’t win, but hey guys, well done!
As i was alone, i didn’t go anywhere during the intermission, just sitting there looking around…
